Career: In 2012, Harris attended the rookie mini-camp with the Miami Dolphins and briefly signed with the Philadelphia Eagles.
College/Personal: In three-plus seasons as the University of Miami's starting quarterback, Harris racked up 8,826 passing yards and 70 touchdowns and completed 60% of his passes. He also added five rushing touchdowns. He left UM ranked second in school history for passing yards and touchdowns behind Ken Dorsey. In 2011, he won the Offensive Most Outstanding Player Award. The year prior, he won the Community Service Man of the Year Award. Harris was a high school star while playing football at Miami Northwestern High School. During his last two years he was unbeaten (30-0) and led the team to two high school state championships. In his senior year, Harris broke the state record for passing touchdowns and won the 2007 High School Football National Championship.
