Acquired: Selected in the fifth round (38th overall) by the Eskimos in the 2012 CFL Canadian Draft. He signed on June 3, 2012.
2012: (Edmonton) King played 15 games as the Eskimos long snapper. He recorded seven special teams tackles and a fumble recovery off a bobbled punt return against Saskatchewan on Oct. 13. He was injured during the Oct. 13 game and was placed on the 9-game injured list for the remainder of the season.
College/Personal: King played his college football at Saint Mary’s University (08-10) where he was a CIS All-Conference. The St. Mary’s product was born in Edmonton and played for the Edmonton Wildcats (2004-2007) and was a 2007 Defensive Player All-Canadian.
