2012: (Edmonton) In 16 games (10 starts) at defensive tackle, Sewell had 31 defensive tackles (four for losses) and tied for the team-lead with six quarterback sacks. He spent Weeks 6-7 on the injured list. Almondo also played in the Eastern semifinal and had two defensive tackles. Sewell was named a Western Division All-Star.

2011: (Edmonton) Sewell was on the reserve list for the first game of the season. He was activated for Week 2 and played in three games recording one defensive tackle. He was placed on the 1-game injured list for Week 5 before being released.

College/Personal: Sewell is just the second player in Akron history to be named a three-time All-Mid-American Conference honouree. In four seasons (2007-’09) with the Zips, Sewell registered 223 tackles. Almondo spent one year at Hargrave (Va.) Military Academy before transferring to Trenton Central High School in Trenton, NJ where he competed in football, baseball and shot put.
