2012: (Edmonton) Koch played in all 18 games (18 starts) at centre and also started the Eastern Division semifinal.
2011: (Edmonton) Koch played 13 games (10 starts). He began the season at right guard before switching to centre in Week 8 against B.C. in place of the injured Aaron Fiacconi. Koch went down with a knee injury on Oct. 10 and was placed on the 9-game injured list. He was on the reserve list for Week 7 in Montreal.
2010: (Edmonton) Koch played 17 games (17 starts) and started the first game at centre in place of Aaron Fiacconi, before moving back to his left guard position. He was on the 1-Game Injured List for Week 17.
Career: Koch originally signed with Winnipeg as a free agent in May 2007 and appeared in his first CFL game on Oct. 5 of that year. He earned praise for his steady play in four regular season games and the Eastern Division final. He started nine games for the Bombers in 2008. In 2009, he signed with Edmonton and played all 18 games (18 starts) and the Western Division semifinal at left guard.
College/Personal: Koch was a CIS All-Canadian in ’05 and ’06 during his time at McMaster. He was also an OUA All-Star in ’04 and ’05 and won the J.P. Metras Award as the OUA Lineman of the Year in 2005. Koch graduated with honours in Accounting from McMaster. He attended Beaver Brae Secondary in Kenora, Ont. where he played football, hockey, badminton and soccer. He is also an avid squash player and cook. He spends the off-season in Edmonton and does various work in the community.
