The Esks attended Monday Morning Magic to help kids with disabilities on the rides at Capital Ex. July 23, 2012.
The Esks are holding their annual Eskimo High School Camp from May 14-18 at Clarke Stadium where Eskimo players coach local high school football players.
Eskimo players, alumni and cheer team hit the runway at City Centre Mall on May 4 to model the new EE jerseys and merchandise, along with clothing from City Centre Mall.
Every year Holy Spirit Catholic School in Sherwood Park has Green & Gold Day. Students dress in green and gold, paint their faces and dye their hair. Eskimo players and Head Coach Kavis Reed read to kids, talked about leadership and participated in fun activites, such as relays, in the school gym.
The 2011 Edmonton Eskimo Women’s Dinner was held on Wednesday, September 21 and raised $58,000 towards ovarian cancer research at the Lois Hole Hospital for Women. Over 500 women attended the event held at the new indoor fieldhouse at Commonwealth Stadium.
Eskimo RB Calvin McCarty and members of the Eskimo Cheer Team went to Devon, Alberta on August 21 for TSN's Kraft Celebration Tour.
As part of the Kraft Celebration Tour, Devon hosted a special edition of SportsCentre featuring anchors Jay Onrait and Dan O'Toole when they broadcast live from the town. Devon also received a $25,000 community award from Kraft Canada that goes towards building a bike park for mountain bike enthusiasts in the community.
