Profile: Jason Tucker
Jason Tucker
Receivers
One of the most prolific pass catchers in Eskimo history, Jason Tucker moves into coaching after suffering a fractured neck last season which cut short his playing career. The four-time CFL and West All-Star and 2003 Grey Cup MVP finished with 7,046 yards receiving, fourth on the Eskimo all-time list, in his seven-year playing career with the Green and Gold.
After an emotional return to Edmonton on August 8th, Tucker joined the team on the sidelines for the remainder of the season, offering his depth of knowledge and experience to his teammates. His calm demeanor and his abundant experience, along with the respect he receives from the players, made it an easy decision to have Tucker join the coaching staff this season.
Jason and his wife, Giesla, reside in Burleson, Texas during the off-season with their four daughters Jaelyn (7), Kendhal (5), London (2) and Micah (1).
