Since 1949, the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club has put particular emphasis on playing a positive role in the community. The tradition lives on as Eskimo players do their part to make our city a better place.
Through the Champions in the Community program, Eskimo players, coaches and cheer team members visit schools and community groups to educate youth on the importance of nutrition and an active lifestyle, share powerful messages on anti-bullying and encourage kids to stay in school. They also work with amateur football teams to help develop the stars of tomorrow.
To request an Eskimo player, coach, mascot or cheer team member appearance at your event, email community@esks.com at least four weeks before your event. Please note that due to the tremendous volume of requests received, it is not possible to fulfill all requests. An appearance fee may be charged at the discretion of the Edmonton Eskimo Football Club.
